When Did We Stop Looking?
I've been thinking about something lately.
We spend a remarkable amount of time searching—for businesses, products, photographs and answers.
But somewhere along the way, I wonder if we stopped asking a more interesting question.
What determines what we actually find?
Not what's available.
Not what exists.
What we find.
The distinction matters.
The internet contains extraordinary work that will never reach the people who would value it most.
Not because it lacks quality.
Not because it lacks originality.
Simply because discovery isn't guaranteed.
We've been taught that if something is good enough, people will eventually find it.
I'm no longer convinced that's true.
Perhaps creating something remarkable is only half the journey.
Perhaps being discoverable is the other half.
Just a thought.
Curiosity is the first step toward discovery.
